Welcome to The Dishwasher: A Baltimore Orioles Blog

Hello! My name is Nathan Skidmore and I’ve run The Dishwasher since 2023.

Having a fan blog is something I’d wanted to do but I had procrastinated it for a long time. I was worried it wouldn’t be any good and I let that stop me for years until I decided I didn’t care. If you were to scroll back a couple years you’d find some extremely poorly written blogs and if you check out my most recent post you’ll find an improved poorly written blog.

The plan was to only show this to my fantasy baseball group chat and a few family members but I’ve started posting links to different social media sites and I’ve simultaneously enjoyed seeing that people are visiting the blog and been horrified that people are reading what I’m writing but if you want the reward of people reading your stuff you have to submit to the mortifying ordeal of people reading your stuff.
